Description

This Mulberry silk fabric is a variety of domestic silk in Assam. Assam silk fabric is made of three major types of indigenous wild silks produced in Assam—golden MUGA, white pat, and warm Eri silk. Muga silk is known for its extreme durability and has a natural yellowish-golden tint with a shimmering, glossy texture. Pat silk or White pat silk is known as Mulberry silk of Assam. Pat silk is used in products like mekhelas, chadars, and other textiles. Eri silk is Very durable, strong, soft texture, and is moisture absorbent, these qualities make eri silk a preferred choice for traditional Assamese saris, curtains, and bed covers. This fabric is a 100% Polyester fabric.
